Oakwood
Situated adjacent to Roundhay Park to the North-East of the city centre, Oakwood is a delightful community. At its centre is the famous landmark, Oakwood clock. Local amenities are plentiful with small boutiques and large supermarkets. There are a range of pubs and restaurants nearby, and Roundhay Park is perhaps the finest outdoor area within the Leeds Boundary. Transport links are adequate, with regular buses into the city centre, and access to the A1/M1 relatively easy by car. Properties in Oakwood are a mix of Victorian Villa style terraces and 1930’s semi detached houses, often situated on tree lined avenues and within easy reach of excellent local schools the area is increasingly popular with young professionals and families.
