City Centre
Leeds is a vibrant, modern and multicultural city, often described as “the Knightsbridge of the north” the City centre has seen a huge amount of investment and regeneration meaning that city centre living is now a viable option for a range of people.
Leeds boasts a fantastic nightlife, with bars, clubs and restaurants ranking amongst some of the best in the region. Shopping in Leeds is also a great experience with the pedestrianized city centre housing everything from high street brands in shopping centres, to classy individual boutiques in the stunning Victoria quarter. The city has two theatres, a large cinema complex and the excellent Kirkgate market where fresh produce and specialty food can be found.
Leeds is particularly well served for public transport with a direct rail line to London, a coach and bus terminal in the city centre, and ample parking for visitors.
Property in the city centre almost exclusively consists of flats and apartments. To the south of the city centre there has been an incredible regeneration of the waterfront area to provide several apartment blocks, hotels and other amenities.
